You can hear that very thing all over the internet. So the question is…

Can you make money online?

The simple answer is yes…

Now if you have been around and tring to make money online you may think nothing is simple about this whole subject.

The sad truth is most people trying to make money online simply don’t.

Now I can go through all kinds of different reasons why this is the case. Everything from junk selling guru’s that are only trying to make a quick buck.

Up to the failure mindset that most people have been indoctrinated with for most of their lives. There are all kinds of excuses people use to explain why we don’t make money.

The simple truth is those people that make money take the time to learn how to make money online.

Those people that make no money never take the time to actually learn how to suceed online. They quit before they have learned the lessons they need to know.

Since I really don’t like to point at problems without also pointing out a solution.

The solution is simple really…

Find someone who can make money online and just do what they do.

Vick Strizheus is just one of those people who make a lot of money online. To find out how He does it all you need to do is sign up.

SEO is Hard!

We hear that all the time…

It does not seem to matter who is talking about SEO. Whether they are the fuzzy “white hat” Google approved “build great content” people. Or they are the hard-core “black hat” spammers that blast links out with every tool known to the Internet.

Both sides always seem to be saying how hard it is to get really good SEO work done. So lets just stop for a minute and first go over exactly what SEO actually is and then we can talk a bit about how it can be much easier than most people expect.

Simply put…

SEO is search engine optimization…

Or in plain English how to get search engines (Google mainly) to display your content to its users.

SEO is usually broken down into two parts…

1. Onsite SEO:

This is everything you do on your page to make it more attractive to search engines.

2. Offsite SEO

This is pretty mush everything else you do to get search traffic to your page.

Something that seldom gets included into discussions about SEO is…

Keyword Research…

Keyword research is probably the most important part of SEO and really deserves its very own article or even a book to really do it justice. Since I don’t have the time or space to get too deep into keyword research I will try to be brief.

Choosing your keywords and knowing the competition level for those terms is the basis for any SEO work you may start. Low competition keywords are much easier to rank highly in the search results. High competition keywords are usually much more difficult to work with.

Almost everyone you talk to will have their own definition of high and low competition.
I usually like to take a three-step approach to keyword research.
1. How broad is the market?
Is this a market like weight loss or credit repair or some other market a large multi million dollar company would want to rank highly in? If that is the case it is more likely to have high competition keywords.

This is not to say you can’t find some very good keywords in that type of market. But you will more likely have to look at longer phrases to find them.

2. Are there any authorities active in this market?
Will you be competing against people or companies that have a major presence in that field? Is there anyone that has established himself or herself as an authority in that particular area and do they have a strong online presence?

If the answer is yes then you may find it more difficult to actually compete in that market. Again this is not to say it is impossible but you will need to be very careful with your keyword selections to see fast results.

3. What sites are currently ranking in the top 5 spots?
Now page one in the search results is always a nice place to be but in all reality if you really want to see results you have to be above spot 5 and in the top 3 for best results.

As a general rule over 90% of the traffic for any keyword goes to the top 5 spots in the results so this is where you really want to be. Now if there are a whole lot of searches for this keyword then getting between 2 and 5% of the traffic can still be profitable.

However the competition is usually much higher for keywords with that much traffic. So being very careful in your choice of keywords is the first step in SEO.

Now for onsite SEO…

Your sites content can make or break your SEO work. But strangely enough at the very beginning it really does not matter much. If you have chosen a low competition keyword you can get away with almost no content for the first month or so.

All you really need to get the page ranked is

The keyword in the title
The keyword in the description
The keyword as the first word on the page in H1 tags
The keyword in an alt tag on an image on the page
An outbound link to an authority site that is relevant to your topic. Somewhere like Wikipedia.

With just that information on your page and the correct off site work you can get that page to at least top of page 2 or even bottom to middle of page 1 results.

Now before you start screaming about CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT…

Let’s talk about content. Everyone say’s you must have “good” content to rank well in Google or any other search engine.

I say…

Yes…

And no…

Before you just dismiss this, think about how many times you have done a google search and landed on a site with crappy content yet that site was ranking highly for your search term.

It happens to me quite a bit…

That alone should tell you something is wrong with the whole “you must have great happy happy joy joy content” idea. The ugly truth is sites will rank with crap content they do it all the time.

Now as your site starts getting traffic there will be other things that will affect it’s ranking and help it stay high in the search results. This is where good content come into the picture.

But what IS good content?

It is anything that keeps the visitors attention…

As long as your visitor likes the content or at least stays to watch the content it is good. And that helps you keep your rank.

Bottom line…

End of story…

That’s pretty much it for onsite SEO.

Now for Offsite SEO.

Offsite SEO is really just backlinks.

It’s actually a simple concept backlinks are like votes for your site. They are a way the search engines know if your site is popular.

Especially in the beginning.

Now I am also counting social signals in this group in general. I do this because Facebook likes, Twitter Tweets and G+ shares are really just a type of backlink and work in pretty much the same way. For the next part I will be talking about regular backlinks from other websites and not social signals.

Now for regular backlinks there are really just two major things to consider. Especially at the beginning but also throughout any backlink work you do.

Those two things are…

Page Rank and Relevance.

Page Rank
Google gives page rank to every page on the web. The higher that rank the more authority Google applies to a link. A high PR link will send high authority signals from the page it is on to the page it is pointed. Some of the PR from the page the link is on gets transferred to the page the link is pointed at.

Relevance
A link from a page that is relevant to your page will have more authority than a link from an unrelated page. For example if your page is about Dog training and you get a link from a Dog training page that is relevant. If you get a link from a page about cars there is no relevance.

So a high PR link from a page that is relevant to your page is what you want. And honestly if you are in a low competition market you may only need one or two links from a page with PR 3 or 4 to rank well on page 1.

Now one last thing about SEO…

Over optimization…

This is something that is relatively new and you will need to keep it in mind. Basically it is just using one keyword too much. If you have that keyword stuffed into your content and it is used in all of your backlinks you will be penalized by Google.

With on page SEO you should try to keep your use of the same keyword to between 1 and 2 times per 100 words. The most important thing to remember is your content needs to be able to be read by your visitors. As long as it is easy to read and does not look like you are repeating the same word or phrase over and over you should be fine.

With off page SEO you need to keep your links from all using the exact same word or phrase as their anchor text. Now if you are only putting 2 or 3 high PR high relevance links out there to start then using your key word is what you want to do.

Once you start a regular back link campaign you will want to be sure you mix up the anchor text on your links. There are many different ideas on the exact ratio of exact match anchor text vs. related and generic text so you can find a lot of different information about this. I usually try to keep a 30/30/30 split with 30% exact match 30% related and 30% generic text for my backlinks. As for the remaining 10% I usually use that for just plain URL links with no keywords at all.

Now to wrap this up just remember those 5 onsite SEO points and the PR + Relevance for the Offsite SEO and as long as you did your keyword research right it is pretty easy to get good search ranking.

I have been called crazy many times in my life. I usually either ignore it or take it as a challenge. I may be crazy but I have chosen to be the kind of crazy that helps people rather than harms people.

I want to be the kind of crazy that when I tell people my goals and plans they think I am totally nuts. They think no one can do all of that. They might even take me aside and say “shouldn’t you start a little smaller”.

What’s the use in small goals and little plans?

Where’s the fun in being like everyone else?

My crazy goal for 2013

I want to help 100 people.

I want to do more than just help them a little bit. I want to help them completely change their lives. I don’t want to just help them make money. I want to help them realize their potential.

But more than just realize their potential I want them to act on it.

I want them to be able to look back and say “Wow I did that!’ I want them to catch the same kind of crazy I have. It’s actually really fun it feels good it gives you a reason to get up in the morning.

It’s great having a goal. It really does motivate you in ways nothing else can. It helps you through the tough times the times when not having a goal would make you just quit. The times when any sane person would just pack it in and go do something else.

Now having a goal is great and you really need that for motivation but just having a goal is not enough.

You need a plan.

Without a plan you never really know if you are heading in the direction of your goal or just running in circles. I heard Tony Robbins say, “If your goal is to see a sunset but you keep running east you will never meet your goal”. You’ve got to have a plan and that plan has to point you in the right direction.

So I made a plan.

It’s not a complex plan it’s actually very simple. I thought a simple plan would be the best the easiest to follow. Less chance I would mess it up. So I thought, “What was the simplest plan I could work out”?

So my plan is to find someone to help. Help that person then find another person to help. I know it’s not a complex plan. I’m pretty sure someone could come up with a more elegant plan.

But remember I’m crazy so I thought it would be best to keep it simple. Easy to explain and there would be no need for complex diagrams or those white boards with all the circles on them.

So that’s my goal

And that’s my plan.

Now you might think it’s crazy. As a matter of fact I would probably agree with you if you told me it was crazy.

But…

I think it’s a good kind of crazy.

If you think this is a good kind of crazy as well you are welcome to join me in my crazy plan.

I want to talk about something that’s brand new. It’s called The Big Idea Mastermind. It is currently in pre launch and set to go live at any minute.

Why am I talking about this you may ask…

Well simply put this is unlike anything else available today. The entire goal of this group is to take at least 1000 people and help them reach a regular monthly income of 5,000.00 or more.

Unlike many other systems available online today this system is not for everyone. Not just anyone can become a member. Those who qualify will become part of a group of dedicated marketers.

Marketers with a goal of a 100% success rate.

People whose purpose is not to simply make money for themselves.

People focused on helping other members meet their goals as much as reaching their own.

To find out more ==> CLICK HERE <== get started today

As I said before this is not open to just anyone.

You must be able to commit 1000% to those goals.

You must be willing to pledge to the group your willingness to
accept ZERO negativity.

You must be willing to follow a strict set of guidelines to be invited to join.

So….

What do you get if you are accepted into The Group?

You will have access to a no nonsense system that…

1. Is designed to help you reach the goal of steady monthly incomes of over 5,000.00 within 30 to 60 days.

2. Has all the tools and training needed to get started earning money right away. Giving you a branded sales funnel all ready to go without your needing to create anything.

3. Membership in an exclusive group of Internet Marketers whose sole purpose is to help every member reach that monthly income goal.

You will save time by having an entire system already in place with a proven product.

You will make money with a series of high quality products that have a low cost of entry and a high converting series of products.

You will avoid the time consuming jobs that finding a good product, creating a proven sales funnel and marketing that product normally take.

You will have access to a true community of people willing to help one another in reaching this goal.

If you have been looking for this type of an opportunity…

Then this is the place for you.

This is the fifth and final part of this series. So far we have gone over several different parts of the path to success.

These parts include:

1. A strong belief in yourself.
2. A Positive mental attitude
3. A clear well defined goal
4. A plan to follow

This fifth part is the most important part to keep in mind.

5. DON’T QUIT

That’s right, just don’t quit. Even if you have those other four parts if you quit whenever things get hard. If you quit whenever things don’t work like you thought they would. You will never succeed.

Whenever you start something new there will always be questions about whether you can or can’t do it. If you let those questions keep you from doing anything you will never get anywhere.

When things do not go as you wanted, and that will happen. You can easily become discouraged and have a less than positive attitude. This can cause you to think about quitting as well.

Your goals may become difficult to keep in focus at times. Causing you to lose direction and focus. Without that clarity it can be easy to just quit and go do something else with your time.

Sometimes a plan will not work like you hoped. Plans can fall apart and cause you to consider quitting.

Any one or even more than one of those first four parts can and probably will go wrong at some point in time. Accept that idea at the very beginning. Knowing this will happen from time to time is very important.

Adjustments to those first four points will have to be made from time to time. This is pretty normal and just part of doing business. Knowing this will happen is one of the best ways to keep from stopping when it does happen.

Not quitting when things don’t go as you planned or expected is the only way you will ever succeed at anything. Point number five is the most important thing anyone can do to ensure success.

So think about all of these points and put them into practice and you can do anything you want. It is really pretty simple and the hardest part is just not stopping when things become difficult.

I hope this series has been helpful. Please keep coming back as I will have more ideas and helpful tips in the future.

We have talked about action and motivation. We have talked about goals and direction. Now we need to look at the part that really connects the two together. The Plan, the way you intend to focus your action to achieve your goals.

I have not really been working in any particular order as far as importance or which comes first. I believe you can start with any of these three and as long as you put them all together you will be heading in the right direction.

Many times it is the plan that gets almost all the attention when we start thinking about any business we want to start. Most people will first think of a business plan when they consider starting their own business.

Whether it is a business or personal area it is the plan that most people want to hear or talk about. We can get so wrapped up in our plans we completely forget the whole taking action or setting goals part of what we are doing.

Unfortunately many people will mistake planning as both taking action and a goal all in one. We focus so hard the plan and trying to be sure it is perfect we forget our reasons for making a plan.

The plan is the least important part of the three things we are talking about. Focusing too much on the planning stage has been the downfall of many great ideas. Planning can give us the feeling of action without any actual progress.

A plan is certainly needed to succeed but it can also be the one thing that can cause our failure to achieve our goals. Blindly following a great plan has caused more failure that anything other than inaction in almost every failure we can see.

A plan is really just an estimate of the steps we will need to take to reach a goal. How many times have we experienced an estimate being completely wrong? How many times have we started something only to find the expectations we had were nothing at all like the reality we found?

How many times have we brought our car into the mechanic for a repair, received an estimate only to be called later with the news the problem was not at all what was expected and that estimate is not what the actual cost will be in the end.

That is a great example of having to change a plan in the middle of a job. Many great plans have been ruined by circumstances that occur along the way. Many people have completely failed simply because they would not change a great plan that no longer was valid.

Many times we get so focused on creating the perfect plan we never actually get to working towards the goal because we are so busy working on the plan. Many great ideas were never achieved simply because someone would not begin actual work until the plan was perfect.

We call that the “paralysis of analysis”. Which is really just a catchy way of saying, “doing nothing”. A mediocre plan that is put into massive action will always do better than a perfect plan that never gets used.

No matter how well you do something there will almost always be a better way if you just stop and think about it. The problem is while you are standing still thinking about it someone else is out doing it.

Doing it half as well as you probably could but getting it done nonetheless. It is the people that make little plans and take big action that see the most results. We do not receive the reward we want for our plans. We receive the reward we want for our actions.

Besides our plans seldom survive our very first action anyway. As soon as we take action, things will change. As soon as things change our old plans will no longer point in the correct direction.

A plan that does not adjust to changes we encounter along our way will only cause problems as we continue to follow it. A series of little plans work much better than one large inflexible plan ever will.

Plans are important; they give us an idea of what we may need to do to reach our goal. The most important thing in planning is knowing when to completely change the plan to be able to continue in the correct direction.

This is why I say there is no perfect plan. Even if you think you have one as soon as you take action things will change. Having a goal and understanding each step of that goal is the best plan possible.

By all means have plans but remember they are just estimates that are subject to change at any time. When the situation changes then change your plan to follow the situation. But never stop taking action simply because the plan no longer fits the situation.

Stay tuned for the fifth and final installment of this series.

Well here we are again. Last time we talked about taking action. While taking action is likely one of the most important things and something that keeps you from the success you seek if not applied.

Action without goals is completely random and has as much chance of wasting your time and energy as it does bringing you success. Without a goal you have no way of knowing which direction to focus your actions.

It is possible to succeed without a goal but it is more likely you will just continue the same wasted action you have been doing all along. A goal or even a series of goals is what allows you to focus your action and measure your progress.

The subject of goal setting is very popular and I am sure we have all heard something on the subject before this. So rather than going on and on about how important it is to set goals lets talk about ways to actually set goals.

We all agree goals are important but did you know if you do not set them properly they could cause more harm than good? Poorly set goals will not give you any idea of what progress you are making and can be so unreasonable or vague and actually cause a feeling of failure.

A poor goal can be something like “I want to be rich”. Now don’t get me wrong, being rich isn’t the problem. The problem is the goal is too vague it leaves out any way to actually measure your progress or even really know when you have achieved this goal.

A poorly defined goal will always be just a bit out of reach. No matter how much progress you make the final goal will never be achieved without definition. You will find yourself on the treadmill of life and frustrated that you never seem to reach your goal.

A well-defined goal on the other hand is something that can easily be measured. Something that can be divided down into easily accomplished tasks that bring you closer and closer to the goal it self.

The ability to measure your progress towards your goal is one of the most important parts to keeping motivated. With proper goal setting you will find the need for determination and will power greatly reduced.

Each step of progress we make towards our goal makes each following step that much easier. Building momentum in the right direction helps keep you going the correct way and reduces the effort needed.

Proper goal setting is much more than just setting destinations for yourself. To really succeed in reaching your goals you must understand them. You must be able to see them clearly in your mind as you progress towards them.

The most important part of goal setting after clarity is believability. You can have the clearest goals possible if you do not believe they are achievable you will always find a way to meet that expectation of failure.

This is where your attitude comes into play. Once you have combined action and goals you still need to believe your goals can be met. Without that belief and understanding you are much less likely to actually reach your goals.

Remember that law of attraction I was talking about last time? This is where it actually comes into play. That positive thought, that belief in yourself, the belief no matter what others might say. It is that very belief that keeps you pointed towards your goal as you move forward.

I like to call that whole idea a GPS navigation system for your success. That belief in yourself is what will guide your actions towards your goal. So far we have two of the three things you need to succeed.

To carry on with the GPS analogy. So far we have the vehicle that will carry us. We have the destination clearly in mind. We have the GPS that will keep us going towards the destination. All we need is the map.

Once you have yourself and the action you will take. Added to that is the goal and the belief you can reach it. All you need is a plan to follow to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

We will talk more about the plan next time.

I really don’t like what most people take away from the usual motivational speakers. The thing that bothers me most is when you are finished they spent so much time on positive mental attitude you walk away with the feeling that is all you need.

The latest thing “The Secret” initially hit me in that same manner. I completely discounted it as a waste of time. I still don’t spend a lot of time on it but I did look into it again and I found if you pay very close attention to what they are actually saying they do add in the importance of action as well as attitude.

I get so annoyed at the whole “law of attraction”. They have it all backwards;

a positive mental attitude does nothing to attract things to you.

It does everything to attract you to things.

There is a huge difference between the two.

One is passive and one is active.

I have a little experiment that shows what I mean. All one need do is sit in a chair with three objects out of reach. Spend some time trying to attract one of those objects by simply thinking about getting it. After trying this for a while see what happens. Once you have done that then focus directly on the object you want and get up and walk over and get it.

In both cases you have focused very clearly on what you want. But one was successful and the other was not. The only difference was the second time you took action based on your thoughts and the first time you did not.

The whole “law of attraction” does not bring things to you.

It brings you to things.

The only way it will work is when you add action to the thought process. There are two ways people can make changes in their lives. Change from the inside out or the outside in.

Change from the inside requires a change in our minds first and then our actions. Actions produce results and as we see those results we reinforce our new mindset.

Change from the outside in simply changes our actions to produce different results. Once we see those new results our mind will change to adjust to the new situation.

Either way is effective but both require a change in our actions at some point. No change in our actions means no change in our results.

If we do not change our results no amount of positive thinking will survive.

The physical evidence will just not support the belief. Without some kind of physical change to support our thoughts we wind up back where we were or even worse.

We can all accept some negative results as long as we also see either a learning process from those results. Or see other progress that we can focus on.

All we need to keep our minds focused on progress is the slightest evidence of progress. Once we have a line of small units of progress we have started a chain that will keep puling us in the direction of progress. After a while progress itself becomes a habit we automatically follow.

Once we reach that point things can explode rapidly.

The funny things about financial success.

Once it hits it is a very fast process.

1.We know we can make progress.

2.We know the direction we want that progress to go.

3.We know the system we are going to use to make that progress.

Well the hard part is over then and we will quickly see results. The true irony is once we get that success and we look back. The actual process we followed will always be much more simple than we originally thought.

We all tend to complicate things in our minds. This is a built in excuse for why we really aren’t where we want to be.

“It’s too hard, it’s too complicated” that is what we tell ourselves from the beginning. Just to soften the blow of the failure we expect.

When we get to the point where the only option we have is to succeed, we will.

As long as we have other options. We go to those other options any time things get hard. Then we use the fact that we failed in that attempt to rationalize why the next one will not succeed either.

This is what we all do.

This is why most people never get what they want but always seem to get what they need.

It is a human condition that we all have. The way people get what they want is to change it to a need. Then we find a way. The whole want/need label is all in our own heads. We decide which is what.

A goal is the very first step we must take to achieve anything in life. Once you have a very specific goal in mind then you are able to go to the next step. Without a specific goal the next step will never work.

To find out more about the next step come back later and it will be posted.

That is a pretty big statement to start off with, don’t you think? How can anyone say something like that and be taken seriously?

Well it all starts with a belief.

I believe any single individual person has within them the ability to do anything any person has ever done or will do.

In other words if one Human has done something any other Human has the ability to do that also. We all start in the same condition and we all have the same basic set of tools and functions with which to work.

So why then do some people do what are considered great things? While others do what are considered evil. Why is there such a variety in people’s conditions and outcomes? Why don’t we all end up exactly the same if we all start out exactly the same?

Well the answer is simple really.

We all do different things with those resources we have in the beginning. It is not what we start with that determines how we end up. But what we do with those resources that are the deciding factor.

But what if no one has ever done what I want to do?

So what? History is full of examples of people that have been the very first person to do something. Things like running a mile in less than 4 minutes. Fly an airplane. Make an electric light bulb.

These are all rather famous examples of people doing something for the very first time. We can probably name the people that did these things from memory.

The thing I find most interesting is shortly after all of those firsts, there were many other people that did exactly the same thing.

Today it is not uncommon for people to use electric lights or fly an airplane or even run a mile in less than 4 minutes. So we know those things are not outside of human capabilities.

We know that people that can first were not super-human, did not posses abilities that the rest of us do not have.

So what did all of those pioneers do that people before them did not? What was it that made them succeed? How can we learn to do the same thing in any area we choose?

These are all things that we will be looking at in this series of messages. We are going to break down into a few simple steps what has been proven through history to be effective in allow people to do what they want even if it has never been done before.

By studying how others have taken the exact same set of circumstances any other person has access to and done exactly what they wanted.

We will be able to set out a simple system. A set of actions to follow that will allow us to duplicate that success in any field we choose.

This is not simply some secret law that we can use to sit around and think happy thoughts to magically attract good things. This is an actual proven set of steps that anyone can use. These steps can be applied to anything you want to accomplish and will allow you to succeed.

So I invite you to continue with me as we go through these steps one by one. I invite you use these ideas and see for yourself just what is possible.

There is a simple fact, systems work. Systems can be applied to anything and give you clear steps to follow and see results.

I certainly hope I have prompted you to think a little bit and come back to see what is next.

I will be back later with part 2.

How many times have you heard this saying? It sounds kind of backwards and even a little shady. In some ways this can get you into big trouble. In other ways this can move you to the next level of success.

Like many things in life it all depends on just how you use this idea. No one wants to go to a doctor that is just “faking” it. In other areas “faking” it is not really being dishonest. It is simply doing something you “can” do before you have the confidence in your abilities.

I will tell a personal story that I feel demonstrates this point pretty well. My first job after college was working in a small law office. My job was as a Paralegal working in the bankruptcy dept. The process was actually pretty simple. I filled in forms, then filed those forms at the Federal Court.

I still remember my very first case. I will not give names for privacy reasons but I can still after over 26 years remember the clients name. The Attorney I was working for gave me three things to study.

He gave me a do it yourself bankruptcy book that anyone could get at a book store, A full set of blank bankruptcy forms and a completed set of bankruptcy forms. He gave me these on the first Monday I worked for Him. He gave me all that and at the same time He told me, “study these because you have an appointment on Wednesday at 2:00″.

As he was leaving the office He said if I had any questions I could talk to him tomorrow as He would be in court all day today. Needless to say I had about zero confidence in my ability to do all of this after only two days of reading.

Well after two days of frantic reading and going through the forms. A half day of practicing vocabulary so I didn’t sound like an idiot. 1:00 pm Wednesday came and I was one hour away from my appointment and scared to death.

Finally at 1:45 I just decided, as I had no other options, to “fake” it. I thought to myself “if I can fake it well enough that no one can tell the difference I can make it”. Well the appointment came and went. 30 minutes after 2:00 the client left my office. Before the end of the day I had all the paperwork filled out and ready to go.

So after that first appointment I always told myself “just fake it through this one and things will work out”. After a little while I was no longer “faking it” but actually doing it. Well I congratulated myself on “faking it” so well and moved on with my job.

I would have stopped there without learning the most important thing. Except, about a year later I had a reason to go back and review my very first case. It just so happened that as I had that first file on my desk I also had a current file open on my desk as well.

For some reason I don’t know I decided to compare my first “faked” case to my current one in which I “knew” what I was doing. What I found surprised me because it wasn’t what I expected. I don’t know why but I expected the first one to be a mess. Full of errors I just did not know I had committed.

After reading through the entire file I could not find one mistake. I could not even find one place where I would have done anything different. That first file was exactly the same as the one I was working on currently.

That’s when I came up with a little motto.

” If you can fake it as well as everyone else that is doing it what’s the difference? “

I learned at that time a simple yet powerful fact.:

It does not matter if you “think” you can do it. It matters whether you do it or not.
If you don’t “think” you can do it, then “fake it” and get it done anyway.

Now this is not about pretending to be something you are not. For example you don’t want to go around faking being a Doctor giving medical advice. You could kill someone and get into a lot of trouble.

This IS about getting past that negative mental state and doing whatever it is that you need to do. Even if you don’t believe it at the time, You can “fake it till you make it”.

Eventually, you will find as I did. You are no longer faking anything but have actually become that person.

It is natural to have some questions when you first try something. It is deadly to your success and happiness if you let those doubts and questions stop you from doing what you want or must do.

A great talk about this idea. It’s not only about body language.
