Practice Gratitude

Gratitude is not just good manners it is good living. Having an attitude of gratitude will make the biggest impact on your life of almost any thing else you can choose.

That’s right gratitude is a choice, a decision we all can make at any time we choose. Taking the time to be grateful will make your entire life better.

Here are just a few ways you will notice…

1. You will be focused on all the good things in your life.
2. You will see more and more good things once you begin looking for them
3. You will become happier as you continue to focus on the positive parts of your life
4. You will attract more positive things into your life as your positive attitude begins to show itself to everyone around you.
5. You will notice other people you interect with will begin picking up on your happiness and it will have a positive effect on them as well.

It can be as simple as just remembering to say “Thank You” every chance you get. Say “Thank You” to the cashier that takes your order at lunch or waiter that refills your glass at dinner.

It’s funny how everyone else around you will suddenly become much more cheerful once you begin doing this.

We can only actively focus on a few things at once. So doesn’t it make more sense to focus on the good things rather than the bad?

Try this for 7 days and see if it does not help you feel better about your life.

On the first day in the morning write down a couple of things for which you are grateful. In the evening read the list and add a couple more things to it.

Do this every day for 7 days…

Keep adding to the list just one or two things twice a day…

At the end of the 7 days read the whole list in the morning and evening and see just how much you actually have to be grateful about.

Many people who do this will keep the daily habit and begin a Gratitude Journal that they regularly review and add to each day.

The simple truth is our thoughts control our actions and our actions have a direct effect on our results in life.

If you want better results in your life then start with better thoughts in your mind.

Gratitude is probably the very best thing you can practice if you are serious about changing your life for the better.
